Freedom Week:
Lumberton Supporting Veterans
American Flags throughout Lumberton
and along highways to show support and raise money for
our troops!!
When: Nov 9th thru Nov 17th, 2007
Join Our Effort Today!

Sponsored by:
American Legion Post 72
and
Auxiliary Unit 72
and
The Lumberton Community Network
Objective:
Fly American Flags
Proudly throughout the entire City
We are asking every business to
allow us to place at least one American Flag on their
property as close to a road or highway as possible.
Flags Along Hwy 96
We particularly want to line Hwy
96 with American Flags. Imagine driving down Hwy 96 and
seeing the both sides of the road lines with beautiful
waving full size American Flags.
Raise Money for Veterans
All proceeds will go to our
Troops and Veterans!
How to Get Involved:
Make A Donation for a Flag:
Freedom Week will not work without any American Flags.
The solution: We will provide the flags for you! In an
effort to raise money for our troops and veterans, we
ask each business to make a suggested donation of $20
per flag. We will place the flags on your property and
remove them when the week is over.
Display Veterans Fund Jar:
In addition to business donations, Lumberton residents
might want to support the troops with donations. A jar
will be provided for you to display at the checkout
counter of your business. These jars will be collected
at the end of the week.

Why Get Involved?
Because they sacrificed for us

The flag will be displayed along Hwy 96, or along
whatever road your business is located, to show the
world that you support our veterans.
